The consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, also known as Pran Pratishtha, is a momentous occasion taking place on January 22, 2024. - Parisar Pravesh: Ceremonial entry of the idol of Lord Rama into the sanctum sanctorum.
The Pran Pratishtha ceremony itself will be a sacred and solemn affair, with the priests chanting mantras, offering prayers, and performing abhisheka (bathing) of the idol with various sacred substances like milk, honey, and ghee. The idol will then be adorned with precious jewels and placed in its designated position facing east.
